This place is awesome. The healing mineral waters of the hot springs piped into your own private hot tub for healing and health, leaving you with only one thing to say…”what a weekend!”

This is a very quaint small town community. The 2010 census showed 560 residents. 2019 shows about 603 folks that abide by two main rules: 1. Be Nice, 2. Love 28743 (which is their zip code). Hot Springs sits on and is part of the Appalachian Trail, so if you are an avid hiker, this is your kind of town!

Too far to make a day trip? Your in luck. You should check at the Mountain Magnolia Inn. This place is old (1868) but is a wonderful family ran bed and breakfast for the past 20 years! I put a few pictures in here for eye candy! The innkeeper actually comes in early and cooks breakfast, just like you would if you were at home waking up on Sunday morning and cooking breakfast! The food was good, the staff is awesome. The only one off we experienced on this trip is the location. Once the GPS said “you have arrived” we just knew it had dumped us off at the wrong location! Keep in mind that you are in a mountain community. You go through a neighborhood and tucked away behind what appears to be 3 units of public housing is this mansion. Quirky yes, but worth a try, also yes. Need more info, reach out to us and we will be glad to help.
